McDonnell Douglas DC-9-31, serial number 47506, line number 588. Delivered to Allegheny Airlines on 18 Nov 1970, registered N961VJ. Renamed US Air on 28 Oct 1979. 21 Feb 1986 Erie PA 0(23) damaged when skidded off runway in snow, first plans to repair it with the cockpit of the Air Canada C-FTLU (Cincinnati) DC-9 which was trucked in, but after doing business as few months repair was called off, cancelled 20 Mar 2013. Current status: written off in an accident.
